TunisAir Handling has deployed the Bamboo technology from Experian-Prologia, a subsidiary of the global information services company Experian®, to optimize the planning of their 1,500 strong workforce. With the Bamboo application, TunisAir Handling will get a flexible and easily customisable tool to plan staff workload.
In order to review their manually made staff activity management, and to optimise the planning of tasks, TunisAir Handling has chosen the Bamboo application software. Developed by Experian-Prologia, and already utilised by many companies, Bamboo helps to automatically design people planning. The planning, once designed, can be updated or modified easily, depending on new possible constraints. Interfaced with the existing Human Resources software, Bamboo allows the variable part of the salary to be taken into account, avoiding any error.
Kais Besbes, Information Systems Director of TunisAir Handling, says: «The optimisation of people planning is a fundamental element in the human resources management. The Handling is one of the areas where the reactivity must be optimal (due to frequent timetable changes) in order to keep up the service quality to our customers. We were looking for an effective, simple and competitive tool that could be easily integrated into our existing system. For us, Bamboo is the right solution that meets our requirements. Thanks to the skills and expertise of the Experian-Prologia team, Bamboo will be quickly parameterised and deployed in our information systems core«.
Philippe David, Managing Director of Experian Prologia states, «We are delighted to be chosen by TunisAir, with this project concerning all major Tunisian airports. This partnership with TunisAir confirms our added value in time optimisation, and planning management, as well as our leadership within the airports/airlines segment.»
